This is a copy of a famous large picture dish of old Kutani. It is a masterpiece of excellent composition with plum blossoms and bamboo at the feet of the bird.
The painting was done by Yuzo Yamagishi, an artist who has been selected for the Nitten and the Traditional Craft Exhibition.
